A once in a lifetime opportunity is coming up (Friday, Sept. 16, aka TOMMOROW)! Wobble fanatics, aspiring producers and DJs, or fans of the craft will be interested in this, a Ustream workshop from a true pioneer in the genre, Mad Professor. Keep in mind, this is not your average “how to wobble” workshop. This is a roots dub seminar in which Mad Professor will be discussing tips and production styles.

For those who do not know, he is widely considered one of the fundemental leaders of the second generation dub movement. Infusing reggae and mixing genius, the man has started a movement with such names as Lee “Scratch” Perry, Sly and Robbie, and Massive Attack. He has contibuted to production in at least 200 albums over his career, with his first official release in 1982. He will be breaking ground on a new venture soon, a project called “The Roots of Dubstep”, to get people educated as to where the womps and the wobbles we love today come from.

He has a wealth of knowledge and experience on his side, and he is gracious enough to go live and show young (and old) producers some classic tricks of the trade. You can catch some more info via the great guys over at Dubspot, who are the ones making this event happen. You can RSVP right here on Facebook!
