Artist To Watch Out For: Follow Me
Transition Begin.
Follow Me is a duo from NYC consisting of Guy Zalaxy and Unknown (he is literally unknown), and they are perhaps the most interesting thing you will hear all day, fuck it, all week. Guy Zalaxy is perhaps the most enigmatic person I have ever spoken to, maybe due to the fact that he is not of this earth?
Guy Zalaxy is, and I quote:
An inter-dimensional being who travelled to Earth from the Omega Centauri Galaxy with his robotic companion Liquid Joey to guide mankind through the rebirth of consciousness that humans are set to undergo in December of 2012, he also built the Pyramids on September 21, 10,000 B.C.
With influences from ranging from the kings, Daft Punk, to Patrick Cowley, to the early days of MGMT, these guys are really creating their own niche of sounds in this beautiful world of techno music.

Personally, I believe that the best way to have our human consciouses reborn is through music. Music cleans the soul and the mind, etc. and Follow Me is here to do exactly that, which makes me pretty stoked for December 2012. Guy says “only those who will listen will be taken away to another dimension with me”, and as expected, no comment from the other half of Follow Me.
The music of Follow Me is simply something extraterrestrial. They create a certain dreamscape in your mind that will make you want to go on The Great Space Adventure a million times over. Feel good space disco is what I like to think of it is, give their tracks a listen, burn up, study, do whatever you need to do. I promise you’ll vibe to these tracks.

In the opinions of both Guy and myself, the mixtape above really best exemplifies the Guy Zalaxy sound. Expect an EP from Follow Me in the coming month, leading up to an album in the next 6 months, all leading up to the final judgement from Guy at the end of the year. Full coverage of all these beautiful happenings from your friends at STS!
