fuegofridays

Add some fuego to your Friday! As usual, there isn’t any particular theme with the tracks posted, other than all of them are fresh out of the oven and straight fuegs. Boom shaka-laka!

Avicii – Levels (Original Mix) This track was formerly called “ID”, Avicii just chose a new title and did some finishing touches to make a little bit better quality than the last. This track is clinically proven to turn that frown upside down, trust me — play this track in a room of bitchy divas and see what happens. Avicii also makes wonderful use of Etta James’ “Something’s Got A Hold On Mess” (the same sample Pretty Lights uses in “Finally Moving”).

Avicii & Sebastien Drums – Even (Original Mix) This track was actually released a while back through iTunes, but looks like this beatport version is of much better quality. This release is a classic example of Avicii’s progressive trends, and if you liked “Snus” then you’ll like this tropical heater for sure.

Disfunktion – Lost All The Ways feat. Nicky Prince (Original Mix) I gave you guys a preview of this smasher when I posted the interview that we had with Disfunktion (If you missed that post be sure to check out here!). In terms of how they use the piano and blissful synths, it’s very similar to Avicii. Not to mention the Nicky Prince’s vocals are outstanding!

Bassjackers – Mush Mush (Original Mix) BOMB ALERT! Dutch duo Bassjackers, or Marlon Flohr and Ralph van Hilst, will turn your eardrums into MUSH MUSH!! I heard this back when Tiesto dropped it at his show in Cleveland and now it’s a top 10 smasher on beatport. Be sure to have some monster speakers when dropping this fuego, it’s mad clubby at first and then just gets insane ~ 2:22 in. OHHHH!!! (RYNO can’t get enough)

Sultan & Ned Shepard & Fedde Le Grand- Running feat. Mitch Crown (Original Mix) Dutchman Fedde Le Grand and Montreal natives Sultan & Ned put together an all-around great track. It has an electro feel with an incredibly soothing piano and vocals by Mitch Crown.

Tristan Garner & Gregori Klosman – Bounce (Original Mix) This is a highly anticipated collaboration between new generation Frenchmen  Gregori Klosman and Tristian Garner — it’s more progressive and techy, and will be a favorite for many DJ’s sets to come.

Spencer & Hill – I Spy (Hard Rock Sofa Instrumental Mix) You know it’s not a fuego friday without my dudes Hard Rock Sofa (one-half of the Russian Renaissance)! This track is fresh and hits hard!

David Tort – Jack It Up (Original Mix) Spanish producer David Tort drops another bomb through Steve Angello’s SIZE records. I can’t put my finger on the sample in this track (around 3:20 in), it was definitely a song from an NBA Live soundtrack a while back by maybe Afrika Bambaataa’s “Planet Rock”

Michael Woods – VMS (Original Mix) Michael Woods is a truly a wizard in this track, which was featured in his exclusive release through the Ministry of Sound’s “Ministry of Sound Club: Residents – Michael Woods“. It’s very PRYDA-esqe,with it’s dreamy progressive synths.

Afrojack – Pop On Acid (Original Mix) This track is tight!! A new little twist to “Pacha On Acid”. I don’t know if it’s new or not, or if Afrojack plans on releasing it. Either way, it’s straight fuegs.

Yelle – Safari Disco Club (BeatauCue remix) Who doesn’t love French popstar Yelle? This electro dance banger definitely has some Dutch influence, although BeatauCue is a duo from France.

Nari & Milani, Cristian Marchi feat. Shena – Take Me To The Stars (Cristian Marchi & Paolo Sandrini Flow Mix) This track reminds me a lot of “Drowning”! Great vocals and happy vibes.

Alex Gaudino – Miami Penthouse (Original Mix) This track definitely surprised me, I had no idea Alex Gaudino could hit it so damn hard! This house heater reminds me a bit of Tim Mason’s “The Moment” around 3:30 in. HOT!

das wassup
