Nadia Ali, Starkillers & Alex Kenji – Pressure (Tim Mason Remix)
I’ve been waiting for this remix to drop for a while now and when the package released on iTunes, they completely left out Tim Mason’s remix as they wrongfully inserted Clockx’s remix twice. I finally got Mason’s remix and I’m fairly impressed. If you go in trying to compare it with Alesso’s then you obviously won’t like it, we all know Alesso’s remix is unbeatable and is perhaps the track of 2011 (competing with Calling and Levels).
He has a refreshing take on Nadia Ali’s dancefloor juggernaut with his signature cascading chords and euphoric melodies. This is a perfect example of how a house track doesn’t need to have a bass-heavy track to be considered good!

Bonus: In case you haven’t already heard me talk about the best live track I’ve heard all year, which is yet to be released, then you MUST peep at Tim Mason’s forthcoming “Anima”. Dirty South dropped it twice during peak-time when I saw him at Pacha NYC and the Mid Chicago, and Thomas Gold dropped it as a climax smash as well. In the dictionary, the term anima meant “the part of the psyche that is directed inward, and is in touch with the subconscious”, which perfectly depicts this heartwarming facemelter.
