I have been impatiently waiting for this facemelting anthem to drop ever since I heard this at the climax of Dirty South's amazing Electric Zoo afterparty set at Pacha NYC. I was then teased again at during peak time at Thomas Gold's legendary set at the Mid Chicago. This is honestly one of the best tracks I've heard in 2011, if not thee best. This won't be the last time you'll be reading up about this track, hopefully you've been keeping up with our top 100 tracks of 2011. Prepare yourself for an extremely emotional breakdown and a euphoric bombardment of the best use of chords you'll ever hear. If you haven't been on the Tim Mason train since The Moment dropped then I suggest you get on now to look cool.
Here's some wonderful words from an excerpt on Beatport:
"Following on from possibly one of the biggest records of 2011, the creator of 'The Moment' returns to finish the year off in spectacular style. Steve Angello's Size records welcomes back Tim Mason and another superb release. This time it's Tim's 'Anima' that will be controlling dance floor's across the globe. Keeping in true Tim Mason fashion it features a huge riff, introduced as lo-fi in the breakdown and building into a huge release of synth madness. Rising snare rolls and FX take the track to new levels before taking you back into the emotional chords that Tim Mason executes so well. This is a sure fire New Year anthem and perfect to be going off as midnight strikes! Hope you all enjoy."
PS: You might want to pick up your eyes and lips from the floor after your face melts off.
