Today is Friday, so here's the fuego that will provide you with sufficient fist-pumping fuel for your weekend crushing. It's been two weeks since my last FF post, so I have no choice to bombard you with the back-up on my iTunes. Hopefully I'll show you some new talent and new sounds along the way!

"Baltic" is Patric La Funk's latest bomb, which was released through Zouk Recordings, the house branch of superpower Armada. I have to give Patric La Funk massive respect on this tune, it makes me want to go on an epic space voyage. You may also recognize him from his beginning of the year anthem "Autosave" with Fedde Le Grand, "Time And Time Again" from Laidback Luke's Mixmash Records, and his respected Spinnin' Records smash "Blizzard".

Set to release November 15th through Steve Aoki's Dim Mak Records, but available to you now on STS, is Tiesto and Aoki's upcoming collaboration "Tornado". The spooky builds and charging drops were definitely fashioned by Aoki. It's a solid track and is for sure something I'd like to hear live. Next up we have Tiesto's take on Coldplay's highly successful "Paradise". Seeing all these huge names like Avicii, Fedde Le Grand, Avicii, and Swedish House Mafia remix Coldplay probably made Tiesto feel left out! This remix is going to be massive!

Here's Afrojack's latest creation "Lionheart" which was released through his own imprint WALL recordings. I really dig the enticing interlude as it sufficiently prepares you for a blistering Afrojack'ed drop. I wasn't too sure about it at first but you really need step up the decibels to catch all the electro layers.

Continuing on our sizzling trail of fuego is Deadmau5's latest track "Aural Psynapse (2nd Edit)", which I'm extremely fond of because it really has that classic Deadmau5 edge. While we are discussing Deadmau5, here's an unreal remix to "Strobe" by Special Features. You may be thinking ehh, Strobe is untouchable, but trust me on this warm electro Mord Fustang-esque mix (great find by ChubbyBeavers).

I saw Martin Solveig perform last night in Ann Arbor at Necto and I must say, he fucking killed it. There were many highlights to my night such as his mash-up of A-Trak's remix to "Heads Will Roll" and "Zero 76", a ridiculous "Big In Japan" remix by Les Bros, and this vicious "Big Bad Wolf" remix by Dada Life. Also, I threw in Dada Life's vocal mix to the uncanny "Happy Violence" (you can check out Kaskade and Swanky Tunes' remixes on Beatport).

BT & Adam K - Tomahawk (Original Mix) A great collab with an even greater combination of EDM subgenres. Looking for the fluid elements of trance, the structure of progressive house, and that gritty electro house bite? Released through Armada's Armind branch (AvB's brand), this is one bomb you have to download.
Leventina, Chris Reece, Passenger 10 - Start Again feat. Deb Peyton (Passenger 10 Rework) This agile, dream-catching groove will put you in a very happy place and was dropped during EDX's most recent No Xcuses episode, receiving great praise.
Freemasons feat. Siedah Garrett - Rain Down Love (Avicii & Julien Kern Remix) I'm going to tentatively say that this is actually Avicii because it actually sounds like his filtered piano synths. Check out Julien Kern's soundcloud here.

Swiss Official - Asimov (Original Mix) FUEGO Caution: epic breakdown 3:30 in with heavy drops throughout. If your a real prog-head who digs Axwell & Thomas Gold's "Blow Up" remix and are a fan of Swanky Tunes and Hard Rock Sofa, you are very welcome.

You know it's never a Fuego Friday without some electro bombs by Mr. Tommy Trash! This guy needs to take it easy because he's been dropping so many quality, yet very original tracks so frequently. It just goes to show you how many ideas this guy has; we haven't even seen him yet any of the major festivals.

It's never too late for a Fuego Fridays, plus I really needed to clear this back-up on my library, my hard drive was starting to smoke. I know it's nice to have the tracks early in the day but now you have no choice but to throw this playlist for your pregame.
Skylar Grey - Invisible (Dirty South Remix) Dirty South's track with Thomas Gold has become of one of my all-time favorite anthems, but seeing his name on a track with Skylar Grey again got me thinking if this track could possibly dethrone "Coming Home". Although a solid track with some nice melodies, I think it's reaches away from being as moving as its predecessor; or maybe it will have to grow on me.

Swanky Tunes & R3hab - Sending My Love feat. Max C. (Original Mix) The Russian trio Swanky Tunes and Dutchman R3hab have had killer years thus far. With tracks like "Feedback", "Smolengrad" and the "I Believe In" remix under their belts, it's obvious that Swanky Tunes really knows how to put together hard-hitting, big room bomb. In addition, R3hab has proved himself as a quality remixer and knows how to break the ice on the dancefloor.

Tommy Trash - Future Folk (Smash The House Radio Rip) This a high quality rip of Tommy Trash's follow up smasher to "The End" which was played on Like Mike & Dimitri Vegas radioshow Smash The House and rocked out live by Swede Sebjak. Lasting only for 4 minutes, this electro bomb is already one of my favorites.

Fedde Le Grand - So Much Love (Original Club Mix) Wonderfully put by BeatMyDay, "The Dutchman embellishes DJ Falcon and Thomas Bangalter’s (half of Daft Punk) mighty original with a pinch of his proficient tech sound for a single release on one of tech House’s finest record imprints."
Mark Eteson & Audrey Gallagher - Breathe On My Own (Original Mix) Fresh off Gareth Emery's label Garuda is the vocal mix to this Mark Eteson's trance heater with vocals by Audrey Gallagher.
Matteo DiMarr - Creep (Original Mix) A bold move by Matteo DiMarr of Steve Angello's SIZE records to take a shot at Radiohead's "Creep". I think he delivers the heat on this house remixed classic.
Pnau - Solid Ground (Too Much Worth Living For) (Tim Mason Remix) FUEGO! Set to release October 2nd, this is undoubtedly an anthem on the rise and has already been rocked out in sets by Hardwell and Thomas Gold. With "The Moment" destroying countless dancefloors and eardrums, I'm wondering how good this English producer Tim Mason really is.

Michael Woods: Electric Zoo Spotlight

Currently on a mega, Michael Woods is one progressive/tech house producer you need to listen to before his performance at Electric Zoo (Sunday, Red Bull Riverside 6:00 - 7:15) . Michael Woods happens to be of Argentinian and Guayanese decent and was born and raised in London with an extensive musical background. In an interview with DJ Mag (check it out here), he tells us how his father was a piano teacher and taught him around the age of four. Soon after, he learned the trumpet, drums and guitar. This childhood experience has helped him to conjure up amazing breakdowns and massive drops with the aid of Logic, Pro Tools and Access Virus.

His success can be dated back to 2000 when his track “Warrior”, released under his former stage name Warrior, achieved a #1 ranking in the UK Club Chart. His remix of Energy 52’s “Café Del Mar” achieved great success and is considered a classic today. Soon after, he would release a few ambient trance singles under the alias of Accadia. Under the alias of Out Of Office, he collaborated with his sister Marcella Woods (a singer) on tracks “So Special”, “Hands Up” and “Break of Dawn”. Perhaps his highest accolade is becoming a resident DJ for Ministry of Sound, dance music’s biggest superbrand world famous nightclub in London. To promote his achievement he released a compilation album ‘Ministry of Sound Club: Residents - Michael Woods’, which consists of his greatest remixes and original crushables. Although he considers himself a one-man band, he has collaborated with the likes of tech-house king Mark Knight, Funkagenda and Chris Lake. If you aren’t sold yet, artists like deadmau5, Martin Solveig, Calvin Harris and Moguai have asked Mr. Woods to fuse his sound to form fuego to the fourth degree. He has dabbled with mainstream artists Diddy, Estelle, Missy Elliot, Temper Trap, iiO and was nominated for “Best Remixer” at 2011’s IDMAs (International Dance Music Award). You can take a guess at who's responsible for the production in Example's "Changed The Way You Kiss Me", which debuted at #1 in the UK Singles Chart in June. Diffused Music is his highly selective record label that showcases nothing but dancefloor destroyers.

It’s everything about his crisp sound—the cascading synths, fluid club tempo and hypnotic progressions—that drives a sense of urgency into the listener’s eardrum, causing them to lose contact with external reality. This all culminates into an anesthetizing drop that induces surges of epinephrine throughout your core. Words can only do so much justice in describing Michael Woods’ signature sound, it’s like trance music except it’s Michael Woods music.

Personal favorites -- Although many, his recent re-work to "VMS" is a rhythmic club smasher with relentless energy. His latest single, or bomb, "Bullet" is the epitome of his signature sound; with its sinister club progression and big room drop! The always inviting "Burned You Away" will definitely hit a soft spot and "Nitro" will put you in a serious zone. "First Aid" was a uplifting anthem that introduced a completely foreign sound (like most of his music) and style that is simply fuego. Prepare yourself for one giant electro eargasm! Picking up where we left off last week, is part dos (or part Avicii) to this feel-good house theme for your workout Wednesday. EC Twins at Supperclub 5/20

In a matter of two years, UK's Eye Candy Twins have ignited Los Angeles, establishing themselves as staples within the Hollywood and Vegas club scenes. The duo is more than just two brothers with a penchant for jumping around stage shirtless. Their setlist is invigorating and their stage-presence is captivating in a genre where so many DJ's act and sound like carbon copies of one another.

The Twins opened up their set with SHM's "Save the World Tonight" and the uber-Hollywood crowd at Supperclub went from stoic and uptight to absolutely raging. It was all Dada Life, Calvin Harris and Deadmau5 and an ascension into dance euphoria from there. Oh and if you want an idea of atmosphere they create? Yeah, here's a video of XIV in L.A. last summer. The song in the video The Twins' rework of SHM "One" with a vocal edit of Laidback Luke "Rockin with the Best." #Mega

Make sure you some big speakers and a fire extinguisher near because shit's about to erupt!!! This track has a trickle of Bromance right before every drop, I dig.

Flash Brothers & Bonse - Higher (Hard Rock Sofa Remix) I never get sick of Hard Rock Sofa's hard-hitting house. Not to mention, this track has nice rhythm and killer vocals.

Bingo Players - Cry (Just A Little) (Original Mix) You should dance (just a little). Bingo Players definitely deliver on this track, and it's something you can rock out to regardless of the scene, hipsters and ravers unite!

Robyn - Call Your Girlfriend (Sultan & Ned Shepard Remix Club) Ah Robyn, her voice has limitless potential in complimenting any sub-genre of EDM. This track is very Laidback Luke. Sultan and Ned are brothers from Montreal who absolutely kill it in progressive/tech-house, expect a post about them sometime soon.

Nicky Romero - Play 'N Stop (Original Mix) Little Nicky is definitely on a run, this oven-fresh track is great composite of tech-house and dance.

Alex Gaudino & Kelly Rowland - What a Feeling (Nicky Romero Remix) BOMB! A killer drop, killer remix, win.

Flo Rida - Turn Around (5,4,3,2,1) (Sebjak Remix) This track is hot, I'm talkin' #1 on TRL hot! Surprisingly, I don't mind Flo Rida in the song, up-and-coming Swede Sebjak does a great job in minimizing the vocals at the right times.

David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj & Flo Rida - Where Them Girls At (Afrojack Remix) Another surprise - not as TRL as I thought, Afrojack's drop is straight dirt plus Nicki Minaj isn't even in the remix (#bi-win).

~~Mord Fustang - Lick The Rainbow (Original Mix)~~ All I know is that he (them?) is from Estonia and is signed with Plasmapool records, I wish I knew more... but what I do know is that his latest track is an electro-eargasm. This track has a hard hitting electro drop with a celestial undertone throughout, reminding me of Kris Menace's "Phoenix" (see post).

~~Milky Way (Original Mix)~~ Welcome to a metagalactic disco, where gravity isn't required for dancing. Straight fuegs.

Sidney Samson - Blasted (Ferry Corsten Remix) Sidney Samson's original mix was a bit overzealous, so I decided to stick with Ferry's energy.

Foo Fighters - Rope (Deadmau5 Mix) A new way to listen to the Foo Fighters.

Come this tuesday at Necto in Ann Arbor, Wolfgang Gartner is taking over the University of Michigan. I'm beyond ecstatic and can't wait to see him perform since last time at Pacha (NYC) at his SuperMe&You themed show with Laidback Luke. The man behind the wolf mask put on a show that was very clubby (Pacha, duh) and electro driven, filled with sinistral energy. His sound is electro-house heavy with tech-house style progressions. It's also is a great opportunity for many to see how great of a producer Wolfgang Gartner is and for Wolfgang to see how coocoo we are for his cocopuffs. American producer Wolfgang Gartner, or Joey Youngman, crushed 2010 with some monster singles, "Conscindo" (my favorite) with tech-house king Mark Knight, "Undertaker", and "Animal Rights" with Deadmau5 just to name a few. Based on the incredible variation he's dropped (as you'll see after downloading), I'd expect the unexpected. I personally am a fan of his deeper techy club beats but am always down to bang it out to his daft electro-house heaters that filled with entropy. Here's an extensive breakdown of many (though not all) of his releases, with the top 5 being personal favorites. Enjoy el feugs.

"A lot of my fans want me to re-create the same sound over and over again. They even say it on Facebook and social networking. They'll say: 'Please just keep making songs in the style of "Fire Power" and "Undertaker." ' You can't do that. You can only do it so many times before you hit a wall and you're regurgitating old ideas. I feel like I've made something fresh that hasn't been done before that still has my sound in it but it's just a little bit beyond the boundaries of what I normallydo. So I'm happy with it."

Logan Light has already had much success, having opened for acts such as Deadmau5, Diplo, and Super Mash Bros. Wolfgang Gartner & Mark Knight - Conscindo (Original Club Mix) By far my favorite (top 10 all time), this is the perfect combination of everything you look for in a heater. Mad clubby, tech-style progressions (thanks to Mark Knight), house-hitting drops with Wolfgang's masterful discord. Zone in to another world where they speak the langauge of winning. I will absolutely lose it when he drops this.

Timbaland - Morning After Dark (Wolfgang Gartner Remix) It was the combination of this song and Avicii's "Bromance" that ultimately peaked my interest in house music. This track is perfect to get any party going and gives you a good idea of what Wolfgang's all about. His electro breakdowns in hip-hop oriented track are killer and will inevitably make you feel hot and bothered (rightfully so).

Tiesto - I Will Be Here (Wolfgang Gartner Remix) Such a happy song and an amazing remix that manages to keep the beautiful trancy house elements, while adding Wolfgang's distinct electro synths that flare at you causing goosebumps. A must-download for all you house hummingbirds (eBUNNY).

MSTRKRFT - Heartbreaker feat. John Legend (Wolfgang Gartner Remix) This remix definitely gives Laidback Luke's remix a run for it's money. I'm a huge fan of John Legend but even bigger fan of Wolfgang, it's monster track that's great for getting it poppin'.

Wolfgang Gartner - Undertaker (Original Mix) This track is absolutely out of control, expect this to drop on Tuesday. It's a sonic boom down to its core.

Wolfgang Gartner - Forever feat. Will.I.Am (Extended Mix) This is Wolfgang's latest track, featuring Black Eyed Pea's Will.I.Am. I know there's a few WIll.I.Am haters out there but they need to come to realize what the Black Eyed Peas have done for electronic music (i.e., a lot!), and that Will.I.Am has been behind a lot of those productions. Maybe house music isn't his thing (from what I've heard from those who saw him at Ultra), but his voice sure compliments this track nicely. At times his vocals make this track too busy but the balance is right. This track #wins.

Wolfgang Gartner - Illmerica (Extended Mix) Very Wolfgang-esqe, a nintendo style electro anthem that you'll find yourself coming back to. The music video's a bit strange too, nice and patriotic.

Wolfgang Gartner & Deadmau5 - Animal Rights (Original Mix) I love this track - its a well-crafted collaboration with Deadmau5 that is straight weird and up-beat at the same time.

Andy Caldwell - Funk Nasty feat. Gram'Ma Funk (Wolfgang Gartner Mix) A huge surprise to me, and even to Wolfgang, that this track was nominated for a 2011 Grammy for best Remixed Recording. Its surprising not because this isn't a good track, but because he has so many better recordings. Nevertheless, I love this song, and have one question for you: "are you nasty baby?"

Wolfgang Gartner - Space Junk (Original Mix) This is one of those tracks that makes you say to yourself "Where the fuck does he get this from?". I'm lovin this exotic club banger with those goofy horn ringers blended will Wolfgang's electro synthetics. Yeah yeah ye-ye yeah...SPACEJUNK!

Wolfgang Gartner - Push & Rise (Original Mix) Push and rise it for me baby!

Wolfgang Gartner - Bounce (Original Mix) You'll feel like a bobblehead after jamming to this funky fresh 'bouncer'.

The actually track that is mixed with Flashback is called Lox, from Belgium Dj and producer Siege. Don't you worry, as soon as Siege releases any more of his fire I'll be sure to spread the love.

Tank - I Can't Make You Love Me (John Dahlback Remix)---- This track sounds like it could be playing on the radio soon, so lets all enjoy it before mainstream media ruins it. Dahlback's progressive builds with Tanks R&B vocals is definitely crushing it.

Sandy Rivera & Yasmeen - Love (Daddys Groove Remix)---Daddy is home and he's brought some LOVE. Daddy's Groove provides us yet again with a banging remix with an extra dosage of synth. Do this song its justice and play it so loud that your ears start to bleed. Lets all keep our fingers crossed in hope that Daddy's Groove transforms Axwell's "King of Heart" mini into a MEGA.

Did you go to Ultra Music Fest this past weekend? I did! Well, Saturday anyway. Unfortunately, I forgot my dayglow sunglasses, luminescent furry boots, light up hula hoop, Deadmau5 head, neon crutches, electric binky, blow up monkey, and to put the Ultra logo somewhere on my body either by shaving it in or painting it on.

But you know what I did remember... a camera! Here's a little recap, and I'm in an award giving mood so here goes, try to keep up:

Made it to Ultra around 3:00 pm just in time to catch Afrojack in the Carl Cox & Friends tent. Afrojack wins the award for Most Eclectic Set because I swear I heard remixes of everything. All the RIGHT everything!

On to Avicii, killing it on the Main Stage. Avicii is certainly having a moment. Avicii gets the I'm the Boss award. Yeah, hi, did you know he's only 21? Talent with a capital T.

Go go go! Classixx in the Heineken Dome! This teeny tiny sponsored tent is a pretty intimate setting for the LA duo. Classixx get the Bring in Da Funk award because I love disco. Real disco. Saturday Night Fever disco. I wish the Heineken Dome was a roller rink. You can download their newest single "Into the Valley" right here.

Surprise! Steve Aoki took the stage during Armin Van Buuren's set. Caught a glimpse of it on the way to see Rusko. *WHOOP WHOOP* <-- video!

The award for Most Underrated Artist goes to Rusko. Underrated on Ultra's part. I mean, Rusko is just blowing up and where was the set? At the little (comparatively) Tower of Ultra. We bobbed and weaved our way over from the Live Tent and couldn't even get inside. We couldn't even get close enough to HEAR anything! It was at least 50 deep all around the tent. Guuuuuuh! I wish I had more to tell you other than it looked like the most amazing time ever but I can't.

Rusko and Reso collab - Lick the Lizard

Boys Noize. This video kills me. Jazz hands and spirit fingers. Also, you get to see the blow up monkey I was talking about. The bass threatened to destroy my little flip cam, sorry for the crappy sound. Award: Best Silly Dance Move Instigator.

With over 100k+ views on College websites, this song continues to gain popularity by the minute. Deadmau5 decided to release the second new track. Datpiff crashed earlier last week due to the Mac Miller Mixtape release. Therefore, its only a matter of time before Soundcloud does as well.

Here comes the next round of jams. Love Thy Brother is a duo of brothers from Ontario, and fortunately enough I was exposed to them by a Canadian friend who was rockin "feel this cat". He was thrilled that I liked the song without even knowing who they were. So with that being said I think Love Thy Brother would appreciate it if you gave them a listen. As for the rest of the songs they are equally sick. One can never get enough of Ellie Goulding's sexy ass voice and DJ Kue's "Power" remix just isn't fair.
