For those of you who haven't opened your eyes to Missy Modell, for whatever reason, shame on you. Lucky for you, you have an opportunity to repent for your sins by listening to this excellent cover of Lady Gaga's "Marry the Night". Not a big fan of Gaga, but she did a good job with this song. I'm a BIG fan of Missy, and she did a GREAT job with this song! One Love produced the beat, sharing similarities to the original instrumental, but it's One Love, so he gave it the Midas touch, and turned that joint to gold. Your boy Jon Kilmer made the video, so this all comes together to create one dazzling production of grace and fiery passion (pun intended to the max). It has taken this long for LMFAO to grow on me, maybe it's this scorching weather and summer atmosphere that has helped me acclimatize, or maybe it's all these nasty remixes to "Party Rock" and "Champagne Showers" floating around in the blogosphere. R3hab's is my favorite by far and it's the closest thing to Afrojack's renown "Take Over Control". Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike's remix may be an exact clone of Bassjackers "Mush Mush" but I'm not complaining since "Mush Mush" has been one of my favorite tracks all year and proved to be festival level smasher at EDC. Last but not least, is Dutch godfather Sidney Samson's club smasher. Let me tell you, it's ridiculously DUTCHY, think "The World Is Yours" Dutchy and boom -- you'll be having dreams about being at Pacha.

German DJ and producer Thomas Gold has been consistently delivering fuego ever since his successful and anomalous single "AGORa", which was released under Size records of November 2010. After analyzing my iTunes library, I've concluded that there are no sound barriers whatsoever for Thomas Gold, as he fearlessly remixes a wide variety of musical genres that range from pop, alternative, progressive house, tech-house, trance, etc. Despite the expected variation in each of his pieces, there still lies a distinctive signature touch that I have failed to find words for. Along with his hard-hitting Axwell collaborated remix of Hard Rock Sofa's "Blow Up" and Lady Gaga's "Judas" remix, Thomas Gold now adds Adele's "Set Fire To The Rain" and Sander van Doorn's "Reach Out" remixes to his golden melting pot. Brace yourself because I have a copious amount of smashers to start you weekend off right. Like usual, Fuego Fridays is essentially a rundown and recap of whats hot in the EDM blogosphere. Boooom shaka-laka!!!

Ellie Goulding - Lights (dBerrie Remix) The original track was on Ellie Goulding's UK release "Bright Lights" of November 2010 (a re-release of Lights), but now NYC's dBerrie does the dirty to this already brilliant track. This remix exploits Ellie's vocal range and empathetic connection that she has with her listeners and combines it with some addicting dance/electro-house goodness. FUEGO on FUEGO!!!

Avicii vs Adele - Nothing Without Adele (Avicii Rolling Bootleg) I swear this is the last Adele mash-up you'll have to hear. "Nothing Without You" is one of Avicii's most anticipated feel-good smashers that should drop sometime soon. This is an amazing booty that you need to add to your summer smashing kickmix!

EDX - Angry Heart (Dub Mix) This track can be perfectly characterized by its title. Angry at first then it's about the heart -- it starts out crunchy and dubby (very unlike EDX), then midway through we are reeled in to EDX's face melting tranquilizing energy.

Third Party - Duel (Original Mix) Headed by Steve Angello, SIZE records has done a great job in picking up talent like Third Party, a duo from London who have a "passion in creating emotionally charged house music". This track has a little bit of everything like that hard clappy bass progression (similar to Thomas Gold & Axwell's "Blow Up" remix & Hard Rock Sofa & Swanky Tunes' "Feedback") and the more abstract house synths reminiscent of Swedish House and Pryda.

The Wombats - Techno Fan (Afrojack Extended Club Remix) Afrojack successfully takes his talents into remixing an indie style track by UK's The Wombats. I'm looking forward to more collaborations like this, it's obviously working, with this remix and Alesso's "Heiress Of Valentina (Alesso Exclusive Mix)" being proof.

Avicii & Sebastian Ingrosso - Carlodio The authenticity of this track is questionable because I haven't heard any chatter on twatter regarding such a collaboration, so it's probably fake. It doesn't take away from the fact that it's solid song, leave a post comment if you can ID this!

George Acosta - Free (Maurizio Gubellini & Matteo Sala Remix) There are a few imposters (aka straight from broke-port) out there wrongfully assigning tracks as Avicii's work. Avicii should probably patent his signature piano synths or switch up his style soon because everybody's thriving from his sound. George Acosta's amazing Free (Original Mix) was under the name "Avicii - Freedom (Original Mix). Perhaps titling every track Avicii is an efficient tactic at luring in viewers!

Avicii - Muja (Original Mix) Another wrongfully labeled track that was scouring the blogosphere under the name "Avicii - Hailtree", you can even hear the monster say "Muja" around 2:19 in. I got it sometime around December of 2010 though I'm unsure when he released it through iTunes. Great progressive style (like Alcoholic, Snus, Even, and Avicii - Jailbait (Original Mix)) Avicii tune.

Tiesto - Las Vegas (Radio Edit) Tiesto has reloaded with some serious ammo for 2011, this smasher hits it hard with some 'trouse' elements.

Nari & Milani vs Swanky Tunes vs Madonna - Kendo is Music Together (Afonso Amaral & Andrew G Music Super Mash) Long ass title, I know. Not normally a huge fan of mash ups but with ADHD sweeping across colleges nationwide, the mash-up has its upside. My favorite part is that this mash-up conserves Nari & Milani's mega drop from their highly anticipated "Kendo (Original Mix)". Oh and Madonna...what's up diva?

Eric Santana & Woodnox - Bongo (Original Mix) Featured on Chuckie Presents Dirty Dutch Digital - Vol. 4, this crispy club smasher sounds like Benny Benassi meets Congorock's "Babylon".

Gregori Klosman - Low Battery (Original Mix) Is your battery feeling drained? Recharge it to this filthy Dutch-style bouncy banger. Throughout, it seems like the track is speaking some sort of dirty Dutch language, just listen! Also featured on Chuckie Presents Dirty Dutch Digital - Vol. 4.

Lady GaGa - Judas (Thomas Gold Remix) God I wish Thomas Gold dropped fuego more frequently because everything he touches turns into gold!

Alex Kenji, Starkillers, Nadia Ali - Pressure (Alesso Remix) After dropping the anthem "Heiress Of Valentina (Alesso Exclusive Mix)" remix, Swedish phenom Alesso has been stranded on the island of Crussia and can't seem to find his way back. He has no choice but to keep crushing to survive (enough now). We gave you shorter 'remix edit' a few weeks ago but now here's the real deal. It's that feel-good drop you can't get enough of. As many of you know this past weekend, we've been hammering out the new version of vokoder and a mobile version for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry. The new version of the site is dropping late this week / early next week, so keep checking back for updates and also check out the updated pluURL site!

During this weekend, myself and my partner in crime vishnu. While Vishnu focused on our mobile applications, I spent each night this weekend up until 5/6 AM building a new API for Vokoder FM, which served as the inspiration for this playlist. You know when it gets so late you feel like you're either cracked out and/or black out drunk.... just go with it lol, anyway to keep myself up I put this little playlist together for ya'll to enjoy.

I had to kick it off with an old 80's favorite 99 Red ballons from Nena, then some new favorites Chiddy Bang and Mike Posner. Finally topped it off with a set of tracks from the 8-bit collective

2009 was definitely the year of Gaga but we threw in a pretty chill remix of telephone featuring Beyonce. 2010 is probably going to be the year of Drake, and a nice send off for weezy. Most of this playlist was inspired by the Yacht Week 2010 video, which we'll throw in at the end of the post incase you haven't seen it already.

We also had to throw in more from Atypicals, which are back by popular demand. We should also mention our good buddy VC (@GoVince) is going to help out sourcing new music!
