Like usual, FUEGO FRIDAYS features some of the best recent releases hitting the EDM scene. More specifically, today’s popstar heavy selection (remixed of course) will indeed light your dance floor on fuego.

Kanye West & Rihanna – All Of The Lights (Mata vs. Laidback Luke Edit) Definitely one of my favorites at the moment. I’ve always been a fan of Ye’s work and this track as of recent. To no surprise, I heard Laidback Luke was madman on the tables and straight up massacred it on Governor’s Island last Sunday.
Enrique Iglesias feat. Usher & Lil Wayne – Dirty Dancer (Disfunktion Bootleg) Boy do I love Usher and his MJ-esque dance moves. Enrique is tolerable of course, and sometimes I can deal with Weezy’s hot garbage.This booty by my favorite Dutch duo Disfunktion is a dance floor destroyer that features Disfunktion‘s signature heavy synths and some mainstream club swag.
Dune vs Alesso – Heiress Of Valentina (Jean Elan Remix) I don’t know if this lives up to Alesso‘s remix but Jean Elan’s progressive house touch is very impressive to say the least.
Morgan Page, Sultan & Ned Shepard and BT feat. Angela McCluskey – In The Air (Extended Mix) An unexpected but amazing collaboration renders this track to be one of the most unique works of the year. Everything about how this track has been put together — the trancy chimes, house rhythm and extremely soothing vocals– makes this absolute FUEGO!
David Guetta feat. Taio Cruz & Ludacris – Little Bad Girl (Club Mix) Without a doubt, this is David Guetta‘s best work since “Sexy Bitch.” Forget the instrumental mix because like I had imagined, the vocal mix turned out to be an absolute club smasher. You and your hip/mainstream mom can now rage to the same song! Regardless of the mainstream appeal, it’s Taio Cruz‘s raspy yet seductive club vocals and Ludacris‘ comical relief and energy that make this a great fucking song. Is it me or does it sound like they are saying “little black girl” in the chorus?
Sidney Samson – Dynamite feat. Tara McDonald (Club Mix) The drop in this smasher is straight Dutch DYNAMITE!
Rihanna – California King Bed (Bassjackers Club Mix) Bassjackers should just be called Basscrushers because they literally crush everything in their path, with Rihanna‘s Californian king bed being the latest target. This is one hard-hitting nasty Dutch bomb!
Laidback Luke – Speak Up (Instrumental Mix) Laidback Luke‘s most recent smasher that’s featured on his latest installment “Cream Ibiza – Laidback Luke” which has yet to be released in the US.
Disfunktion vs CeCe Peniston- Finally Galette (Day Maguire’s Sax Attack Bootleg) WOW! Disfunktion‘s best track mashed up against arguably the best club anthem in the US of the 90′s? Yeah I’ll take that, and boom you are pregnant.
Martin Solveig feat. Dragonette – Hello (Ken Loi Remix) The headless aftermath of Martin Solveig‘s “Hello” is still being felt as it destroys more eardrums in the form of recently released “Hello (Summer 11 Remixes).”
John Dahlbäck – Violins Of Donau (Original Mix) I don’t know where this Indian influence came from, but then again I don’t really care as John Dahlbäck crushes it once again.

I haven’t been this excited in a while. Collaborating with Guetta and Rihanna, Afrojack continues to turn everything he touches into afrocrack for your ears. The original mix released by Guetta on iTunes was way short and a bit too poppy so I promise you this remix will hit the spot. On the rise Hardwell drops absolute fire, the only way I can describe this song is sheer energy, and perhaps anthem worry in my opinion (shoutout to OCSD for the find). “I Got You”, by Cristian Marchi and Nari & Milani has to be one of my recent favorites, it gives me an Axwell “Nothing But Love” vibe, these remixes will definitely add some cheer to your life. Both are rather progressive, the Mattias Remix hits harder but the Antillas & Dankann Club Mix gives you a different energy. With names featuring Thomas Gold and Norman Doray, “Chase the Sun” and “Hide U” are worthy progressive bangers as well. Last up are some recent releases by Wall Recordings (Afrojacks label) Sidney Samson & Bobby Burns and an original mix by Bingo Players.

Playlist: TEPR’s ruthless remixing

While browsing through the iTunes library I managed to brew up a real nasty playlist dedicated to those remixes that we all love so much. You’re at a party or a pregame and one of your friends only likes dance and electronic and your other friend only likes hip-hop and pop, so whats your solution? Easy answer: REMIXES will get the divas to stop bitching!

While discussing remixes lets focus on a DJ who goes by the name of TEPR. “TEPR” or Tanguy Destable comes from Morlaix in North West France. He currently plays keyboard for French popstar Yelle and has made himself more well known for his unbelievable remixing. His jams can get you into a deep electronic groove making you feel like a revived super nintendo without having to blow the insides (yes its that fresh) . Along with TEPR’s remixes I added some other hot remixes worth downloading. Most are fairly recent if your worried about getting new music but either way you can’t deny the damage thats about to be done to your ear drums!

What is it about summer that makes music sound better? There’s so much music this month we wanted to start you guys off with a nice mix of mash ups and originals to get the summer music season started off right!

It’s almost that time of the year, here’s the list you need for wherever you are going on Spring Break this year. In case you forgot you can always send us recommendations via facebook or @silverlake2soho on twitter.

2009 was definitely the year of Gaga but we threw in a pretty chill remix of telephone featuring Beyonce. 2010 is probably going to be the year of Drake, and a nice send off for weezy. Most of this playlist was inspired by the Yacht Week 2010 video, which we’ll throw in at the end of the post incase you haven’t seen it already.

We also had to throw in more from Atypicals, which are back by popular demand. We should also mention our good buddy VC (@GoVince) is going to help out sourcing new music!
