I completely agree the status updating functionality is really wonky, like when you're on the home page and you update your status / answer their own prompt "What's on your mind" it doesn't update your profile status, it only adds a facebook post?

The should make updates and posts one and the same. Like you I normally update my "status" through twitter because that's the only consistent way to do it lol.

Great analysis. I found a good workaround for having easy access to your lists: each has its own unique URL, so you can add them to the bookmark bar of your browser and get to the most important ones with 1 click.

For me, the biggest issue is that I can only seem to update my status if I go to "status updates", which really doesn't make sense. This will just encourage me to spend less and less time on the site and just update from my iPhone or Tweetdeck, which really works against their advertising strategy.

I still haven't seen the redesign. How do you have it already? When is it going to roll out to a larger user base?
